ABOUT ACC NOW

 

ACC NOW is an on-line communion service available for all.  We meet via zoom every Sunday at 3pm (NSW time).  

 

We confess the Lord Jesus Christ and proclaim the truth with the aim of renewing the church.

 

People across Australia who are unable to attend a communion service for whatever reason are welcome to join us.  Please use the contact form below and you will be sent the zoom link.

ACC NOW is a group of the Assembly of Confessing Congregations of the Uniting Church in Australia.  This online communion service was begun in 2018 as part of the prayers in the lead up to and following the Uniting Church National Assembly. It originally began as a time of communion with bible readings and an opportunity for corporate prayer.  During the COVID-19 in 2020, the worship time has expanded to include a message preached each week and worship hymns and songs.

 

As an ACC group we are evangelical, reformed and orthodox in faith seeking to be faithful to scripture and adherence to the Uniting Church Basis of Union.

 

We pray each week for the world-wide persecuted church and support the work of the ACC in our prayers.

 

We are also very aware of the persecution of Christians in Australia and the attacks on our democratic way of life and are available to pray for and support where possible Ministers of the Word and other ministry workers who are in the front line being persecuted because they are taking a stand for the Christian faith and/or democracy.
